LuFuki and Divine Providence is a creative improvised music collective that combines elements of classical, rock, “jazz,” and world music, each member bringing their unique experiences and interpretations that bring emotion and spontaneity for each performance. Love & Light
CO-FOUNDER, COMPOSER
Composer and guitarist, LuFuki, and singer/songwriter and guitarist, Tazeen, are a duo that felt the need to connect hearts through sound in order to promote solidarity, freedom, and social action. The two have an album together entitled Love & Light as well as two other acoustic bands: an Indian-Jazz fusion band and an Arabic-Jazz fusion band. LuFuki and Tazeen live in and regularly play live shows in Detroit at various venues, intimate concerts, and festivals. For more, click here

The Eternal Unfolding Vol.1
LuFuki and Divine Providence’s third album, Emergence Volume 1 will be coming out in Spring 2024. This body of work intends to encourage artists and listeners to connect on a deep level so that each person can tap into their truth and power. This is where true peace and community flourish and what fosters relationships that empower us to feel like a family, tied by our humanness, rather than separated by social constructions. The purpose of this project is to create a space in which we can find collective healing through individual art expression and wholeness. This double vinyl album is the first part of this work. Volume 2 will be recorded and released in early 2025.
